David H. SmithSales Manager Western Europe and The Middle East
David become a chartered librarian in 1975 and spent some time working in the Oxfordshire Library Service. He subsequently went on to manage the Banbury Bookshop before becoming a partner in a computer software company supplying programmes for the book trade. In this role he helped to develop the innovative programme "BORIS". He later went on to start Crofthouse Books in 1988 within the DELTA Group. Crofthouse specialised in supplying British and American books to libraries in Western Europe, Israel, South Africa and Brazil. In December 2004 Crofthouse then merged with Lindsay and Howes to form the company Lindsay and Croft. |
