YBP Library Services — now a Baker & Taylor company — provide books and supporting collection management and technical services to academic, research and specialist libraries in North America and worldwide.
Since 1971, YBP has grown from a one-person business to a company of more than 300 employees. Its growth and success stem from close and ongoing collaboration with librarians, customers, publishers and suppliers.

1971 John Secor founds YBP Library Services as a bookseller to libraries.
1998 YBP's UK office merge with Lindsay and Croft based in Surrey, England.
1999 Baker & Taylor acquire YBP.
