T S Eliot Prize for Poetry 2003

Established in 1993 to celebrate the Poetry Book Society's 40th birthday and honour it's founding poet, the T S Eliot Prize is now in its 11th year.

The shortlisted poets will read from their collections at the UCL Bloomsbury Theatre on 18th January 2004, the eve of the awards ceremony. For more details or to book tickets, visit www.thebloomsbury.com

The £10,000 prize is donated by Eliot's widow, Valerie, and will be presented by her to the winner at a central London ceremony on 19th January 2004.

This year's judging panel are George Szirtes (Chair), David Harsent and Mimi Khalvati.
